TOP SWITCH BLOWS UP AT TURN ON TIME
Hi,
Before also I have asked some question about my project (Design of a Flyback Conveter Using TOP227Y).
I am giving Ac input from an Auto Transformer . While I gave supply from Auto transformer (slowly I increased the voltage) , at nearly 20 volt the switch blew up. I could not get anything why did It happen. Can you please help me in this matter ?
I have attached my circuit diagram. Please check that., circuit is correct or not.

I could n't get any time to measure the voltage or current,because It happened suddenly.
I have also some doubt about R2, because the two windings has two different return Path.
That may be the reason.

The problem for switch blow up, was about polarity. Now that problem is solved.
Now I am getting output but the ripple voltage is more.
I guess there is some difference between your schematic and board for R2. The schematic of R2 not make sense for me. Correct R2 first, and then check the polarity of the snubber diode and output diodes.
If R2 and snubber diode has no problem at all, PLS check the Vds and Ids of TOPSWITCH during steady state and start up. When you check the waveforms, you may findout the root cause of the blewup.
