Enlarge the Input Range

Hi,
I designed a system that use the LNK623 and all work fine.
Question: is there a trick or some other component that allow to have a larger (i.e. 48Vac - 265Vac) input range ?
What is the component limit that does not allow the component to work at 48V?

Sorry, could you please explain me why it a current limit issue? I do not understand... Thank you in advance...
No matter the line input, the current limit is same. At low line or 48V dc, the average input current will be much lower, and thus maximum power capabilty will be limited.
Current limit and thus the output power capability..... thermal will be bad at 48Vac too...
