Is TOP227YN discontinued ?

We are going to use TOP227YN in our equipment. As far as I have found this part in “Product Archive” section, I would make sure that this part is in production and will be available on the market in the future.

As a matter of policy, we generally do not discontinue any of our parts.

But however we strongly recommend using our new product family devices (for example TOPSwitch-JX) with which you can get additional features.

Do you still recommend not to use this part. Since it is available for purchase no one wants to change the design. Also this part was used as an replacement for TOP204YAI without changing the design do you think we should upgrade the device and design both?

If it is existing design, you can still continue to use it.

I would not recommend this device for new designs.
