Input Rectifier Voltage rating is too small.

Posted by: david wong on

I made a low power design wiht Pi 9.0 yesterday. The power's parameter are below:

INPUT: DC+48V

OUTPUT:DC+12V,6A

The PI device in this power is TOP271EG,and i received some warnings:

1.Input Rectifier Voltage rating is too small.

2.Input Rectifier current rating is too small.

3.Estimated clamp voltage is too high.

Is this schematic wrong? What should i do to make it work?

thanks.

Hi,

TOPSwitch-JX was designed to use in applications where input voltage range is from 85VAC to 265VAC.

For your application I would recommend you to use DPASwitch family device. I am giving you a link for one of the reference design here
