Date and Lot codes for TOP266

Posted by: mjscottinnc on

I'm unable to find any information on finding or decoding the date and lot codes on a TOP266EC. Why wouldn't that information be readily available? Not on then data sheet, not on the packaging information.

Top line is the date code. It indicates the week the part was assembled.

Second line is the part number.

Third line is the manufacturing lot (or batch) number by which we track product lot history.

The date code of the device is indicated by a letter followed by a three-digit number. For example, if the device has a d/c as "K919". The letter “K” indicates the assembly site where the part was assembled and the three digit number indicates the year and the week of assembly. For "919" means the part was assembled in 2009 work week # 19.

We do not track manufacturing, quality, shipment records or product history of our products with date code. There may be multiple manufacturing lots and multiple product types assembled at the assembly site within the same week, and they will all have the same date code.

The lot number of the device is indicated by a five-digit number followed by a letter. We track our manufacturing, quality, shipment records and product history by the lot number.
